Chicken Thali
A traditional Indian thali dish featuring flavorful chicken and variety of sides.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Boneless chicken breasts
- β1 medium Onion
- β2 inches Ginger
- β3 cloves Garlic
- β1 teaspoon Cumin seeds
- β1 teaspoon Coriander powder
- β1/2 teaspoon Red chili powder
- β1/2 teaspoon Garam masala
- β1 cup Coconut milk
- β2 cups Basmati rice
- β4 pieces Roasted naan
- β1 cup Cucumber raita

Marinate the chicken in a mix of cumin seeds, coriander powder, red chili powder, and garam masala for 30 minutes.

Heat oil in a pan and sautΓ© the onion, ginger, and garlic until softened.

Add the marinated chicken and cook until browned. Add coconut milk and simmer until the chicken is cooked.

Cook the basmati rice according to package instructions.
