Russian Flaky Frittata
A delicious breakfast dish combining the flakiness of pastry with the richness of eggs and the spices of Russia.
Ingredients
- β1 sheet flaky pastrythawed
- β4 eggslarge
- β1/4 cup frittatachopped
- β1/4 tsp saltto taste
- β1/4 tsp pepperto taste
- β1 tbsp chopped fresh dilloptional
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Roll out the flaky pastry to a thickness of about 1/8 inch.

In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, frittata, salt, and pepper.

Pour the egg mixture over the center of the pastry, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.

Sprinkle chopped fresh dill on top (if using).

Fold the pastry edges over the filling, pressing gently to seal.

Brush the top of the pastry with a little water and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown.
