Chicken Kheer Paratha
A flaky Indian flatbread filled with spiced chicken and sweet kheer filling, perfect for breakfast or snack.
Ingredients
- β2 cups all-purpose flour
- β1/4 cup ghee or vegetable oilfor brushing
- β1/2 cup wateras needed
- β1 pound boneless chicken breastcut into small pieces
- β1 medium onionfinely chopped
- β1-inch piece gingergrated
- β1 teaspoon garam masalaadjust to taste
- β1/2 teaspoon saltadjust to taste
- β1 cup milkfor kheer
- β2 tablespoons sugarfor kheer
- β1/4 teaspoon cardamom powderfor kheer

Combine flour, salt, and ghee in a bowl. Gradually add water and knead a dough.

Rest the dough for 30 minutes.

Heat oil in a pan and sautΓ© onion, ginger, and chicken until cooked.

Add garam masala and mix well.

Knead the dough again and divide it into 4-6 equal portions.

Roll out each portion into a thin circle.

Place a tablespoon of the chicken mixture in the center of each circle.

Fold the dough to form a triangle or square shape and press the edges to seal.

Heat a non-stick pan and brush with ghee.

Cook the paratha for 1-2 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

Meanwhile, heat milk in a saucepan and add sugar, cardamom powder, and a pinch of salt.
