Fiery Korean-Style Fish Stew
A spicy, comforting fish stew inspired by Korean flavors. This dish is perfect for a chilly evening.
Ingredients
- β2 pounds flaky fishsuch as tilapia or cod
- β2 cups sujebiKorean-style hand-raised noodles
- β2 tablespoons fish sauceor Korean chili paste (gochujang)
- β3 cloves garlicminced
- β1/4 cup green onionschopped
- β1 teaspoon fiery korean chili flakesor more to taste
- β2 tablespoons soy sauceoptional
Instructions

In a large pot, heat 2 tablespoons of oil over medium heat.

Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Add the flaky fish and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, until browned.

Add 4 cups of water, fish sauce, and soy sauce (if using). Bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10-12 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through.

Add the sujebi noodles and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.

Stir in the fiery korean chili flakes and chopped green onions.

Season with salt to taste.
