Fried Chicken Gyoza
A fusion recipe that combines the crispy goodness of fried chicken with the Japanese delight of pan-fried gyoza. The spicy kick from the fiery seasoning adds an extra layer of excitement to this dish.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Boneless chicken breastCut into small pieces
- β20-24 wrappers Gyoza wrappersFind these in the Asian food section of your grocery store
- β1 teaspoon Fiery seasoningAdjust to taste
- β1/2 cup Vegetable oilFor frying

1. In a large bowl, mix together the chicken, fiery seasoning, and a pinch of salt.

2. Heat about 1/2 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

3. Using your hands, shape the chicken mixture into small balls and flatten them slightly into patties.

4. Fry the chicken patties until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.

5. Meanwhile, prepare the gyoza by placing a small spoonful of the chicken mixture onto the center of each wrapper.

6. Dip your finger in a small amount of water and run it along the edges of the wrapper.

7. Fold the wrapper into a triangle by bringing the two opposite corners together to form a point.

8. Press the edges together to seal the gyoza.

9. Add a few drops of water to the skillet and swirl it around to create a small amount of steam.
