Uruguayan Tuna Skewers
A flavorful and spicy Uruguayan-inspired dish featuring tuna skewers with a crispy crust.
Ingredients
- β4 Tuna Steaks6 oz each
- β1/2 cup Fiery Uruguayan Saucesee below for recipe
- β1/4 cup Crispy Garlicminced
- β1/4 cup Fresh Cilantrochopped
- β2 tbsp Lime Juicefreshly squeezed
- β1 tbsp Olive Oilfor brushing skewers

Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

Thread tuna steaks onto skewers, leaving a small space between each piece.

Brush skewers with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

Grill skewers for 8-10 minutes per side, or until tuna reaches an internal temperature of 145Β°F.

While tuna is cooking, heat fiery Uruguayan sauce in a small saucepan over low heat.

Brush sauce onto tuna during the last 2 minutes of cooking.

Remove skewers from grill and top with crispy garlic and chopped cilantro.

Serve immediately with additional fiery Uruguayan sauce on the side, if desired.
