Kenyan Beef Stir Fry
A flavorful and spicy beef stir fry inspired by Kenyan cuisine, made with tender beef and a variety of spices.
Ingredients
- β250g Tender beef stripsSlice the beef into thin strips before using.
- β1 medium OnionChop the onion before using.
- β3 cloves GarlicMince the garlic before using.
- β2 tbsp Fermented Kenyan stir fry pasteUse store-bought or homemade stir fry paste.
- β2 medium TomatoChop the tomato before using.
- β2 tbsp Beef brothUse low-sodium broth.
- β SaltTo taste.
- β Black pepperTo taste.
- β1 tbsp Cooking oilUse vegetable or peanut oil.

Heat oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.

Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.

Add the onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the stir fry paste to the skillet and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Add the tomato to the skillet and cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Return the beef to the skillet and stir to combine with the sauce.
