German Pineapple Strudel
A sweet and tangy twist on the traditional German pastry, featuring caramelized pineapple and a hint of exotic spices.
Ingredients
- β1 package (thawed) Puff Pastry
- β1 cup, sliced Pineapple
- β1/4 cup Brown Sugar
- β1/4 teaspoon Cinnamon
- β1/8 teaspoon Nutmeg
- β1/8 teaspoon Exotic Spices (e.g. cardamom)
- β1/4 cup, melted Unsalted Butter
- β1, beaten Egg

Preheat oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Roll out puff pastry to a thickness of 1/8 inch.

In a bowl, mix together pineapple, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and exotic spices.

Spread the pineapple mixture evenly over the center of the pastry, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.

Brush the edges with melted butter.
