Japanese Spicy Omelette
A Japanese twist on the classic omelette, filled with spicy kick.
Ingredients
- β2 Eggs
- β1/4 teaspoon spicy
- β1 teaspoon Soy Sauce
- β1 tablespoon Sesame Oil
- β1/4 cup Diced Green Onions
- β2 leaves Sliced Shiso
Instructions

In a small bowl, beat the eggs well.

Heat the sesame oil in a medium non-stick skillet over medium heat.

Add the diced green onions and cook until softened.

Add the soy sauce and stir to combine.

Pour in the beaten eggs and cook until the edges start to set.

Use a spatula to gently lift and fold the edges towards the center.

Add the sliced shiso leaves on one half of the omelette.

Sprinkle the spicy on top of the shiso.

Use the spatula to fold the other half of the omelette over the filling.

Cook for another minute, until the eggs are just set.
