Pan-Seared Lamb with Japanese Stir Fry
A flavorful and savory dish combining the richness of lamb with the bold flavors of Japanese stir fry.
Ingredients
- β4-6 oz each Lamb chopsAustralian lamb for optimal tenderness
- β2 tbsp Vegetable oilFor pan-searing lamb
- β2 cloves GarlicMince for added flavor
- β1-inch piece GingerGrate for stir-fry
- β1 can Bamboo shootsDrained and sliced for stir-fry
- β1 Bell peppersSliced for stir-fry
- β1 cup Snow peasTrimmed for stir-fry
- β2 tbsp Soy sauceFor marinade and stir-fry
- β1 tsp Sesame oilFor added flavor
- β1 tsp Sesame seedsFor garnish
Instructions

Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat.

Season lamb chops with salt and pepper.

Add 1 tbsp of vegetable oil to the skillet and sear lamb chops for 3-4 minutes per side.

Remove lamb from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the remaining 1 tbsp of vegetable oil.

Add minced garlic and grated ginger and sautΓ© for 1 minute.

Add sliced bamboo shoots, bell peppers, and snow peas to the skillet.

Pour in soy sauce and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.

Return lamb chops to the skillet and stir-fry for another minute.
