Peruvian-Style Skillet Beef
A flavorful and hearty beef skillet dish with a Peruvian twist, featuring a bold and aromatic sauce.
Ingredients
- β1 pound BeefSkirt steak or flank steak work well
- β2 tablespoons DoubleA Peruvian staple, aji amarillo pepper paste
- β1 cup RisePeruvian-style rice
- β2 teaspoons EnergizingAji panca pepper powder (or substitute with smoked paprika)
- β1 large SkilletFor cooking the beef and sauce
- β2 KidneyOptional, for added flavor

Heat the skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove from heat and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the double and cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant.

Add the rise, energizing, and kidney (if using) to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until the rice is lightly toasted.
