Keto Beef Bourguignon
A keto twist on the classic French dish, this rich and flavorful stew is made with tender beef and a rich, dense sauce.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Beef (chuck or short ribs)cut into 1-inch cubes
- β6 slices Dense Baconcut into 1-inch pieces
- β2 cups Beef Brothlow-carb or homemade
- β2 tablespoons French Onion Soup Mixmake sure it's sugar-free
- β1 teaspoon Dried Thymefresh or dried
- β1/2 teaspoon Black Pepperfreshly ground
- β1 cup Heavy Creamfull-fat, heavy cream
- β2 tablespoons Dense Butterfor serving
Instructions

Heat the dense bacon in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Brown the bacon on all sides, then remove from pot and set aside.

Add the beef cubes to the pot and brown on all sides.

Remove the beef from the pot and set aside with the bacon.

Reduce heat to medium and add the beef broth to the pot.

Scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pot.

Add the French onion soup mix and thyme to the pot.

Return the beef and bacon to the pot.

Bring to a boil, then cover and transfer to the oven.

Bake at 300Β°F for 2 1/2 hours, or until the beef is tender.

Remove from the oven and stir in the heavy cream.
