Thai-Style Pork Skillet
A flavorful and spicy stir-fry made with pork, thai herbs, and a savory sauce.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Pork shoulder, thinly sliced
- β2 tablespoons Thai red curry paste
- β1 tablespoon Fish sauce
- β1 tablespoon Soy sauce
- β1 tablespoon Brown sugar
- β2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
- β2 cloves Garlic, minced
- β1/4 cup Thai basil leaves
- β1 teaspoon Chili flakes
- β1 Skillet (preferably cast-iron)
Instructions

Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in the skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the sliced pork and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.

Remove the pork from the skillet and set aside.

Add the remaining 1 tablespoon of oil to the skillet.

Add the curry paste and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.

Add the garlic and cook for another minute.

Add the fish sauce, soy sauce, and brown sugar. Stir to combine.

Return the pork to the skillet and stir to coat with the sauce.

Add the Thai basil leaves and chili flakes. Stir to combine.
