Crispy Pork Ensaïmada Croissants
A sweet and savory fusion of French and Spanish pastries, featuring crispy pork and flaky ensaïmada.

- ●1 package Ensaïmada doughHomemade or store-bought
- ●2 tablespoons Granulated sugar
- ●1/4 cup Melted unsalted butter
- ●1 large EggsBeaten
- ●1/4 teaspoon Salt

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. Roll out the ensaïmada dough to a thickness of about 1/4 inch.

3. In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and melted butter.

4. Brush the sugar mixture evenly onto the dough.

5. Sprinkle the cured pork belly on top of the dough.

6. Roll the dough into a tight log and cut it into 8-10 equal pieces.
