German Corn Fritters with Smoked Aioli
A crispy German-inspired street food featuring sweet corn and smoked aioli for dipping. Perfect for a quick snack or side dish.
Ingredients

- β1/2 cup All-purpose flour
- β1 tablespoon Granulated sugar
- β1/2 teaspoon Smoked paprika
- β1 large Eggs
- β1/2 cup Vegetable oil
- β1/4 cup Smoked aioli

1. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, and smoked paprika.

2. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs and corn kernels.

3. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.

4. Heat about 1/2 inch of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

5. Using a 1/4 cup measuring cup, scoop the corn mixture into the hot oil and flatten slightly.

6. Cook the fritters for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.

7. Remove the fritters from the oil and place on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
