Crispy Korean Chicken Bowl
A sweet and spicy Korean-inspired chicken bowl topped with crispy chicken, fresh herbs, and crunchy vegetables.
Ingredients
- β4 lbs chicken breast
- β1 cup cornstarch
- β2 tbsp korean chili flakes
- β2 tbsp soy sauce
- β1 tbsp rice vinegar
- β4 dates
- β4 bowl
- β1 bunch green onions
- β4 cups crisp lettuce
- β1 cup crispy garlic

1. In a large bowl, whisk together cornstarch, korean chili flakes, soy sauce, and rice vinegar to make the marinade.

2. Add the chicken breast to the marinade and mix well to coat.

3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

4. Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

5. Remove the chicken from the marinade and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

6. Bake the chicken for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.

7. While the chicken is baking, toast the crispy garlic in a small skillet over medium heat.

8. Chop the green onions and crisp lettuce into thin strips.

9. Slice the cooked chicken into thin strips.

10. Assemble the bowls by placing a scoop of rice in the bottom, followed by the sliced chicken, toasted garlic, green onions, and crisp lettuce.
