Hash Croquettes
A Japanese dish featuring crispy hash croquettes made with a mix of potato and hash browns, perfect as a snack or appetizer.
Ingredients
- β1 cup, shredded hash browns
- β1/2 cup, grated potato
- β1/4 cup, chopped croatian paprika
- β1/2 cup crispy tempura flour
- β1/4 cup water
- β2 tbsp soy sauceoptional

1. In a large bowl, combine the shredded hash browns, grated potato, and chopped paprika.

2. Add the crispy tempura flour to the bowl and mix until just combined.

3. Gradually add the water to the bowl, stirring until the mixture forms a cohesive dough.

4. Divide the dough into 8 equal pieces and shape each piece into a small sphere.

5. Heat about 2 inches of oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat.

6. When the oil is hot, add the hash croquettes to the pan and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.

7. Remove the croquettes from the oil with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

8. If desired, serve the croquettes with a dipping sauce made from soy sauce and water.
