Indian Quiche
A unique twist on the classic quiche, blending Indian spices with the French dish. This quiche is perfect for brunch or dinner.
Ingredients
- ●1 1/2 cups wholemeal flour
- ●1/2 cup flourall-purpose flour
- ●1/2 cup cozyunsalted butter, softened
- ●1 cup strongmilk
- ●2 large eggs quiche

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large bowl, whisk together the wholemeal flour and all-purpose flour.

Add the softened butter and use a pastry blender or your fingertips to work it into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Gradually add the milk, stirring with a fork until the dough comes together in a ball.

Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead a few times until it becomes smooth.

Roll out the dough to a thickness of about 1/8 inch (3 mm).

Transfer the dough to a 9-inch (23 cm) tart pan with a removable bottom.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs and a pinch of salt.

Arrange the eggs in the pastry shell, leaving a 1-inch (2.5 cm) border around the edges.

Bake the quiche for 35-40 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
