German Chicken Schnitzel
A classic German dish featuring breaded and fried chicken, served with a side of creamy sauce.
Ingredients

- β1 cup all-purpose flour
- β2 eggs
- β1 cup bread crumbs
- β1/4 cup vegetable oil
- β1/2 cup heavy creamfor sauce
- β2 tbsp unsalted butterfor sauce
- β2 tbsp lemon juicefor sauce

Prepare the breading station by placing flour in one shallow dish, eggs in another, and bread crumbs in a third.

Season the chicken breast with salt and pepper.

Dip the chicken in the flour, coating both sides.

Dip the floured chicken in the eggs, making sure to coat completely.

Dip the egg-coated chicken in the bread crumbs, pressing gently to adhere.

Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the breaded chicken to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Transfer the cooked chicken to a plate and cover with foil to keep warm.
