Spanish Gambas Paella
A traditional Spanish dish made with succulent gambas, flavorful spices, and a hint of garlic.
Ingredients
- ●1 pound Gambas (Spanish prawns)
- ●1 cup Ayurvedic basmati rice
- ●1/4 cup Friendly olive oil
- ●3 cloves Garlicky minced garlic
- ●1 teaspoon Spanish smoked paprika
- ●1 cup Tender chopped tomatoes
- ●1 teaspoon Paella seasoning
- ●to taste Salt
- ●to taste Pepper
Instructions

Heat the olive oil in a large paella pan over medium-high heat.

Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the smoked paprika and stir for 1 minute.

Add the chopped tomatoes and cook for 3-4 minutes until they start to break down.

Add the gambas and cook for 2-3 minutes until they start to turn pink.

Add the paella seasoning and stir to combine.

Add the basmati rice and stir to coat the rice with the oil and spice mixture.

Add 2 cups of water to the paella pan and bring to a boil.

Reduce the heat to low and simmer, covered, for 20-25 minutes until the rice is cooked and the liquid has been absorbed.

Remove the pan from the heat and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
