Uruguayan Beef Casserole
A hearty and flavorful Uruguayan-inspired beef casserole, made with gluten-free ingredients.
Ingredients
- β1.5 lb BeefGround beef
- β2 tbsp Zesty Uruguayan SeasoningHomemade or store-bought
- β1 large OnionChopped
- β3 cloves GarlicMinced
- β1 can Gluten-free Tomato Sauce14.5 oz
- β1 package Gluten-free Casserole CrustHomemade or store-bought

Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.

Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet and cook until the onion is translucent.

Stir in the Uruguayan seasoning and cook for 1 minute.

Add the gluten-free tomato sauce to the skillet and stir to combine.

Transfer the meat mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish.

Roll out the gluten-free casserole crust to fit the top of the baking dish.

Place the crust on top of the meat mixture and crimp the edges to seal.

Cut a few slits in the top of the crust to allow steam to escape.

Bake the casserole in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is hot and bubbly.
