Pan-Seared Ukrainian Dumplings with Fennel
A hearty and flavorful Ukrainian-inspired dish featuring pan-seared dumplings served with a crunchy fennel slaw.
Ingredients
- β12-15 pieces Dumplings (store-bought or homemade)
- β1 large bulb Fennelthinly sliced
- β1 tablespoon Zesty Ukrainian Seasoning Mix
- β2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black Pepper
- βchopped (optional) Fresh Chives or Parsley

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the dumplings and cook until golden brown on the bottom, about 2-3 minutes.

Flip the dumplings and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until golden brown.

While the dumplings are cooking, combine the sliced fennel and Ukrainian seasoning mix in a bowl.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Once the dumplings are cooked, transfer them to a plate and top with the fennel slaw.
