Turkish-Style Lamb Kofte
A flavorful and spicy twist on traditional Indian street food. This dish combines the best of Turkish and Indian cuisine with the bold flavors of lamb kofte.
Ingredients
- β250g Lamb mince
- β1 medium Onionfinely chopped
- β3 cloves Garlicminced
- β2 tsp Zesty Turkish seasoning
- β1 tsp Cumin powder
- β1 tsp Coriander powder
- β1 tsp Salt
- β1/2 tsp Black pepper
- β2 tbsp Breadcrumbs

Preheat the oven to 180Β°C (350Β°F).

In a large mixing bowl, combine the lamb mince, chopped onion, minced garlic, zesty Turkish seasoning, cumin powder, coriander powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all the ingredients are fully incorporated.

Using your hands, shape the mixture into small kofte shapes. You should end up with around 8-10 kofte.

Place the kofte on a baking tray lined with parchment paper and drizzle with a little bit of oil.

Bake the kofte in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until they are cooked through and lightly browned on the outside.

While the kofte are baking, toast the breadcrumbs in a pan over medium heat until lightly browned.

Once the kofte are done, remove them from the oven and sprinkle with toasted breadcrumbs.

Serve the kofte warm, garnished with fresh cilantro if desired.
