Spanish Chicken Paella
A classic Spanish dish made with chicken, zesty saffron, and a variety of vegetables. This paella recipe is a staple of Spanish cuisine.
Ingredients
- β1 1/2 pounds Chicken breast, boneless and skinless
- β1/2 teaspoon Zesty saffron
- β1 cup Spanish rice
- β2 tablespoons Vegetable oil
- β1 medium Onion, diced
- β1 medium Red bell pepper, diced
- β1 medium Tomato, diced
- β2 cups Chicken broth
- β1/2 teaspoon Smoked paprika
- βto taste Salt and pepper

Heat the oil in a large paella pan or skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Remove the chicken from the pan and set aside.

Add the onion, bell pepper, and tomato to the pan and cook until the vegetables are tender, about 5 minutes.

Add the rice to the pan and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.

Add the chicken broth, saffron, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to the pan and stir to combine.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer, covered, for 20-25 minutes.
