Smoked Jamaican Chicken Tagine
A flavorful and aromatic stew originating from Morocco, infused with Jamaican spices and served with a smoky twist.
Ingredients
- β1 1/2 pounds Chicken ThighsBone-in, skin-on
- β2 teaspoons Smoked PaprikaSmoked for added depth
- β1 tablespoon Jamaican Jerk SeasoningHomemade or store-bought
- β1/2 cup Morbier CheeseSliced, for serving
- β1 cup Tagine SauceHomemade or store-bought
- β1 medium OnionsChopped
- β3 cloves GarlicMinced
- β2 LemonsJuiced
- β1/4 cup Fresh CilantroChopped, for garnish

Heat oil in a large Dutch oven over medium heat.

Add onions and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add chicken and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.

Add smoked paprika, Jamaican jerk seasoning, and tagine sauce. Stir to combine.
