Thai-Style Skillet Chicken
A spicy Thai-inspired dish made by sautéing chicken, fennel, and Canadian ingredients in a skillet.
Ingredients
- ●1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- ●1 large bulb fennelsliced
- ●2 tablespoons canadian maple syrup
- ●2 tablespoons garlicky soy sauce

- ●1 tablespoon zesty fish sauce
- ●2 tablespoons coconut oil
- ● chopped cilantrofor garnish
- ●1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
Instructions

Heat the coconut oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until browned on both sides, about 5-7 minutes.

Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.

Add the sliced fennel to the skillet and cook until it starts to soften, about 3-4 minutes.

Add the maple syrup, soy sauce, fish sauce, and red pepper flakes to the skillet and stir to combine.

Return the chicken to the skillet and stir to coat with the sauce.

Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer, covered, until the chicken is cooked through, about 10-12 minutes.
