Bo Kho French Beef Stew
A hearty and flavorful French-inspired beef stew made with tender bo kho beef, zesty vegetables, and a hint of flaky crusty bread.
Ingredients
- β1 pound Bo Kho Beef (thinly sliced)
- β1 large Onion
- β2 medium Carrots
- β2 medium Potatoes
- β2 tablespoons Zesty Vietnamese Chili Sauce
- β1 loaf Flaky Crusty Breadcrumbly breadcrumbs for garnish
- βto taste Salt and Pepper
- βchopped (optional) Fresh Cilantro
Instructions

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Add the sliced beef and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Remove the beef from the pot and set aside.

Add the sliced onion to the pot and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the sliced carrots and potatoes to the pot and cook for an additional 5 minutes.

Add the browned beef back into the pot, along with the zesty Vietnamese chili sauce, salt, and pepper.

Bring the stew to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 1-2 hours, or until the beef is tender.
