Kenyan Fried Rice
A flavorful twist on the classic fried rice dish, inspired by Kenyan cuisine.
Ingredients
- β2 cups crisp rice
- β1 cup kenyan rice
- β2 tablespoons zesty
- β1 tablespoon vegetable oilany vegetable oil
- β1/2 cup scallionschopped
- β1/4 cup toasted peanutschopped
Instructions

Heat the oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add the chopped scallions and toasted peanuts and stir-fry for 2 minutes.

Push the scallions and peanuts to one side of the pan.

Add the zesty to the empty side of the pan and stir-fry for 1 minute.

Add the crispy rice to the pan and stir-fry for 2 minutes.

Add the Kenyan rice to the pan and stir-fry for 2 minutes.

Mix all the ingredients together and stir-fry for 1 minute.

Serve hot and garnish with additional scallions and peanuts if desired.
