Pan-Seared Kushikatsu with Cabbage Slaw
A Thai-inspired twist on the Japanese classic, kushikatsu, featuring crispy fried breaded pork cutlets served with a refreshing cabbage slaw.
Ingredients

- β4 pork cutletsbattered with zesty breading
- β1 cup kushikatsu saucestore-bought or homemade
- β1 cup vegetable oilfor frying
- β1 cup japanese breadcrumbsfor breading

Heat 1/2 cup vegetable oil in a deep frying pan to 350Β°F.

Dredge pork cutlets in flour, shaking off excess.

Dip floured pork cutlets in beaten eggs, then coat with japanese breadcrumbs.

Fry breaded pork cutlets until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.

In a separate pan, heat kushikatsu sauce over medium heat.

Assemble kushikatsu by placing a fried pork cutlet on a plate, then spooning kushikatsu sauce over the top.
