Beef Tagine
A traditional Moroccan stew made with beef, spices, and dried fruits.

Ingredients
- β1.5 lbs Beef
- β2 tbsp Russian
- β2 tsp sugar
- β1 taginewhole

Instructions

Heat oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Brown the beef on all sides, then remove from pot.

Add Russian and sugar to pot, cook for 1 minute.

Add beef back to pot, along with 2 cups of water.

Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, for 1.5 hours.

Add tagine to pot, and continue to simmer for another 30 minutes.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve hot over couscous or rice.

Garnish with fresh parsley or cilantro, if desired.
