Spiced Lamb Tagine
A hearty and aromatic Indian-inspired tagine made with lamb mince, perfect for a cold evening. This flavorful dish is slow-cooked to perfection, resulting in tender meat and a rich sauce.
Ingredients
- β500g lamb mince
- β2 tablespoons yummyuse ghee or vegetable oil
- β1 onion, finely chopped midnite
- β2 cloves, minced craving
- β1 teaspoon ground cumin saudi
- β1 teaspoon ground coriander arabian
- βto taste salt
- β1 tablespoon tomato paste tagine
Instructions

Heat 2 tablespoons of ghee or vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add the minced lamb and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.

Add the cumin, coriander, and salt, and cook for 1 minute.

Add the tomato paste and cook for 1 minute.

Transfer the mixture to a slow cooker or Dutch oven.

Add 250ml of water and stir to combine.

Cover and cook on low for 2 hours or until the meat is tender.

Season with salt to taste.
