Crispy Thai Chicken Bao
Delicious crispy Thai chicken served in soft bao buns. A perfect fusion of flavors.
Ingredients
- β1 lb Chicken breastcut into small pieces
- β2 tbsp Thai red curry pasteadjust to taste
- β4-6 wrappers Crispy wonton wrappers
- β4-6 buns Bao buns
- β1/2 cup Cucumbersliced
- β1/2 cup Carrotspeeled and grated
- β1/4 cup Green onionschopped
- β2 tbsp Soy sauceadjust to taste
- β1 tsp Brown sugaradjust to taste
- β2 tbsp Vegetable oil
Instructions

Preheat a non-stick skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

Add 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil and swirl to coat the pan.

Add the chicken to the skillet and cook until browned, about 5-6 minutes.

Add the Thai red curry paste to the skillet and stir to combine with the chicken.

Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes, until the curry paste is fragrant.

Add the crispy wonton wrappers to the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes on each side, until crispy.

Transfer the chicken mixture to a plate and cover with foil to keep warm.

Cut the bao buns in half and toast until lightly browned.
