Japanese-Style Omelette
A simple and delicate Japanese omelette made with eggs, dashi, and shiso leaves. Serve with steamed rice for a traditional Japanese meal.
Ingredients

- β1 tsp 1 tsp soy sauceoptional
- β1 tsp 1 tsp sesame oiloptional
- βto taste chopped shiso leavesfor garnish

1. In a small bowl, beat the eggs until they are well mixed.

2. Heat a small non-stick pan over medium heat.

3. Add the dashi broth, soy sauce, and sesame oil to the eggs and mix well.

4. Pour the egg mixture into the pan and cook until the edges start to set.

5. Use a spatula to gently lift and fold the edges of the omelette towards the center.

6. Once the eggs are almost set, use the spatula to carefully fold the omelette in half.

7. Cook for another 30 seconds to 1 minute, until the eggs are fully set.
