Toad in the Hole
A classic British dish of sausages cooked in a Yorkshire pudding batter. Serve with roasted vegetables.
Ingredients

- ●1 cup Yorkshire pudding mixOr make your own using 1 cup all-purpose flour, 2 eggs, and 1/2 cup milk
- ●2 tablespoons Oil
- ●1 medium OnionChopped

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

Cook the sausages in a large pan over medium heat, until browned on all sides.

Remove the sausages from the pan and set aside.

In the same pan, add the oil and cook the chopped onion until softened.

Add the Yorkshire pudding mix and stir to combine.

Gradually add 1 cup of milk, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.

Pour the batter into the pan and cook for 2-3 minutes, until the bottom is golden brown.

Transfer the pan to the preheated oven and cook for 15-20 minutes, until the Yorkshire pudding is puffed and golden brown.

Serve the cooked sausages in the Yorkshire pudding.
