Smoky Mackerel Tikka Masala
A twist on the classic Indian dish, Smoky Mackerel Tikka Masala incorporates the bold flavors of Uruguayan mackerel into a rich and creamy sauce.
Ingredients
- ●4 fillets Uruguayan Mackerel
- ●2 tsp Yellowed Curry Powder
- ●1 tsp Bake Ground Cumin
- ●1 tsp Smoky Paprika
- ●2 tbsp Ginger Paste
- ●3 cloves Garlic
- ●1 cup Heavy Cream
- ●1 cup Tomato Puree
- ●to taste Salt
- ●to taste Black Pepper

2. In a small bowl, mix together curry powder, cumin, and paprika.

3. Rub the spice blend onto both sides of the mackerel fillets.

4. Bake the mackerel in the oven for 8-10 minutes or until cooked through.

5. While the mackerel is baking, heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.

6. Add the ginger paste and garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes.

7. Add the tomato puree and heavy cream, stir to combine.

8. Bring the sauce to a simmer and cook for 5-7 minutes or until thickened.
