Gluten-Free Saudi Arabian Spaghetti
A unique twist on traditional spaghetti, using gluten-free pasta and inspired by Saudi Arabian flavors.
Ingredients
- ●12 oz Spaghetti (gluten-free)
- ●2 tsp Saudian Arabian SpicesAvailable at Middle Eastern grocery stores
- ●1 medium Sauteed Onion
- ●1 Sliced Bell Pepper
- ●1 lb Ground BeefCook to a safe internal temperature of 160°F (71°C)
- ●1 can Tomato Sauce
- ●2 tbsp Olive Oil
- ●to taste Salt and Pepper
- ●1/4 cup Chopped Fresh Cilantro

Cook spaghetti in boiling, salted water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook, breaking it up with a spoon, until browned.

Add sautéed onion, sliced bell pepper, and Saudi Arabian spices to the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes, until the vegetables are tender.

Stir in tomato sauce and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat to low and let cook while you prepare the pasta.

Add cooked spaghetti to the skillet, tossing to combine with the sauce. If the sauce seems too thick, add a bit of the reserved pasta water.

Season with salt and pepper to taste, then garnish with chopped fresh cilantro.
