Jamaican Pasta Bake
A flavorful and spicy pasta bake with a Jamaican twist. Perfect for a weeknight dinner.
Ingredients
- ●8 oz Vermicelli Pasta
- ●1 medium Yellow Onionsauteed
- ●2 tsp Jamaican Jerk Seasoning
- ●1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
- ●1/2 cup Sour Cream
- ●1/4 cup Fresh Cilantrochopped
- ●to taste Salt
- ●to taste Black Pepper
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook the vermicelli pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, sauté the yellow onion over medium heat until softened.

Add the Jamaican jerk seasoning to the skillet and stir to combine.

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and stir to combine with the onion and jerk seasoning mixture.

Transfer the pasta mixture to a baking dish and top with shredded cheddar cheese.

Dollop the sour cream over the top of the cheese.

Sprinkle chopped fresh cilantro over the top.

Season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
