Vietnamese-Style Grilled Pork Bun
A flavorful Vietnamese-inspired dish featuring marinated grilled pork served in a crispy baguette with fresh herbs and pickled vegetables.
Ingredients

- β1 lb Thit NuongVietnamese-style marinated pork
- β2 tbsp VietnameseFish sauce and lime juice marinade
- β1/4 cup CrispyPickled carrots and daikon
- β4 slices BaconOptional
- β1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro
- β1/4 cup Fresh Mint
- β2 Sliced Chilies
- β2 tbsp Mayonnaise

Preheat grill to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

In a small bowl, whisk together fish sauce, lime juice, and 2 tbsp of water. Add the sliced pork and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Grill the pork for 5-7 minutes per side, or until cooked through.

Meanwhile, toast the baguette by grilling it for 2-3 minutes or until lightly browned.

Assemble the sandwich by spreading mayonnaise on the bottom half of the baguette. Add sliced pork, crispy pickled carrots and daikon, fresh herbs, and sliced chilies.

Top with the top half of the baguette and serve immediately.

If using bacon, cook it in a pan until crispy and add it to the sandwich.

Optional: Add a fried egg to the sandwich for extra protein.
