German Chicken Tagine
A unique German twist on the traditional North African dish, using roasted tagine and chicken. This flavorful stew is perfect for a cold winter night.
Ingredients
- β1 lb chicken breastcut into 1-inch pieces
- β1 tablespoon roasted tagineavailable in most grocery stores or online
- β1 teaspoon algerian spicesmix of cumin, coriander, and paprika
- β2 tablespoons xtra virgin olive oilfor sautΓ©ing
- β1 medium onionchopped
- β2 cloves garlicminced
- β2 medium carrotspeeled and chopped
- β2 medium potatoespeeled and chopped
- β2 cups chicken brothlow-sodium
- β salt and pepperto taste

Heat oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Add chicken and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.

Add tagine, spices, and broth. Stir to combine.
