German Sausage Stew
A hearty German-inspired stew made with rich sausage and hearty vegetables. Perfect for a cold winter's night.
Ingredients
- β1 pound German sausageCut into 1-inch slices
- β1 medium Onion
- β2 medium Carrot
- β2 medium Potato
- β2 cups Xtra rich beef broth
- β1 can Stew14.5 oz, diced tomatoes
Instructions

Heat oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat.

Add sausage and cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Remove from pot and set aside.

Add onion to pot and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add carrot and potato to pot and cook for 5 minutes.

Add beef broth, diced tomatoes, and browned sausage to pot. Stir to combine.

Bring stew to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer, covered, until vegetables are tender, about 20 minutes.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.
