Creamy Pasta Bake
A rich and satisfying pasta dish with a flaky, buttery crust.
Ingredients
- ●8 oz flaky russian pasta
- ●2 tbsp xtra virgin olive oil
- ●4 tbsp unsalted butter
- ●1 medium onion
- ●3 cloves garlic
- ●1 cup grated parmesan
- ●2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- ●1 cup milk
- ●1 tsp salt

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente, then set aside.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add butter and melt.

Add onion and garlic to the skillet and sauté until softened.

Sprinkle flour over the onion mixture and cook for 1 minute.

Slowly add milk, whisking continuously to avoid lumps. Bring to a simmer.

Remove skillet from heat and stir in parmesan until melted.

In a large bowl, combine cooked pasta and sauce. Season with salt to taste.

Transfer pasta mixture to a baking dish and top with additional parmesan.
