Spicy Korean Tofu Stew
A hearty and flavorful stew made with crispy tofu and a spicy Korean-inspired sauce. Perfect for a cold evening.
Ingredients
- β1 block (14 oz) Tofu
- β2 tsp Korean chili flakes (gochugaru)
- β2 tbsp Soy sauce
- β2 tbsp Rice vinegar
- β1 tsp Brown sugar
- β2 cloves Garlicminced
- β1 Crushed xtra hot red pepper
- β2 cups Stewvegetable or chicken broth
- β1/4 cup Creamysour cream or heavy cream
Instructions

Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.

Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute, until fragrant.

Add the chili flakes and cook for another minute, until fragrant.

Add the tofu and cook until golden brown on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Add the stew, soy sauce, rice vinegar, brown sugar, and crushed red pepper.

Bring the stew to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10-15 minutes.

Stir in the creamy.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.
