Keto Chaat Bites
Crispy, spicy, and tangy, these bite-sized chaat bites are a delicious keto twist on the popular Indian street food.
Ingredients
- β1/4 cup xtra Virgin Olive Oilfor frying
- β1 cup buttermilkchilled
- β2 tsp Citrusy Spice Blendstore-bought or homemade
- β1 tsp Indian Chaat Spice Mixstore-bought or homemade
- β1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheesefull-fat, keto-friendly
- β1/4 cup Chopped Fresh Cilantrooptional, for garnish
- β2 Sliced Green Chiliesoptional, for garnish
- βto taste Salt

1. In a large bowl, whisk together buttermilk, citrusy spice blend, and Indian chaat spice mix.

2. Add shredded mozzarella cheese to the bowl and mix until well combined.

3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

4. Heat xtra virgin olive oil in a deep frying pan over medium-high heat.

5. Using a small cookie scoop or spoon, drop the cheese mixture into the hot oil, making sure not to overcrowd the pan.

6. Fry the chaat bites for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.

7. Using a slotted spoon, remove the fried chaat bites from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
