Smoked Turkey Tagine
A flavorful Moroccan-inspired stew made with tender smoked turkey and a blend of aromatic spices.
Ingredients
- β1 Smoked Turkey Neckcut into 2-inch pieces
- β2 tablespoons Mediterranean Olive Oil
- β1/4 cup Briny Caperschopped
- β2 teaspoons Mediterranean Spicesa blend of cumin, coriander, and cinnamon
- β1 tablespoon Xtra Virgin Olive Oil
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Black Pepper

Heat the Mediterranean olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium heat.

Add the chopped capers and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.

Add the Mediterranean spices and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Add the smoked turkey neck and cook until browned on all sides, about 5 minutes.

Add the xtra virgin olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine.

Transfer the tagine to the oven and braise for 2 1/2 hours, or until the turkey is tender.
