Ginger Clafoutis
A unique twist on the traditional French dessert, infused with the warmth of Indian spices and the freshness of ginger.
Ingredients
- β3 inches Gingerpeeled and sliced
- β2 cups Clafoutisdried fruit (such as cranberries or cherries)
- β1 cup Earthyground almonds
- β1/2 cup Frenchall-purpose flour
- β1/2 cup Xenialgranulated sugar
- β1/2 cup Gheemelted
- β1/2 tsp Cardamomground

Preheat the oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).

In a large bowl, whisk together the sugar, flour, and ground almonds.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted ghee, eggs, and ground cardamom.

Add the sliced ginger to the wet ingredients and stir to combine.

Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.

Fold in the dried fruit.

Pour the batter into a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.

Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until the clafoutis is golden brown and set.
