Slovakian Tagine with Xanthan Slurry
A twist on traditional tagine, this Slovakian-inspired dish incorporates xanthan gum for added depth, paired with a sweet dark soy sauce.
Ingredients
- β2 tablespoons Dark Soy Sauce
- β1 teaspoon Slovakian Tagine Spice Blend
- β1/4 teaspoon Xanthan Gum
- β2 tablespoons Infused Oil
- β1 large OnionsChopped
- β3 cloves GarlicMinced
- β2 medium CarrotsPeeled and chopped
- β2 medium PotatoesPeeled and chopped

Heat infused oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.

Add onions and cook until translucent.

Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Stir in tagine spice blend and cook for 1 minute.

Add carrots and potatoes. Cook for 5 minutes.

In a small bowl, mix xanthan gum with 2 tablespoons of water to create a slurry.
