Grilled Deodeok with French Herb Skewers
A delightful summer dish featuring the sweet flavor of deodeok paired with the freshness of French herbs, grilled to perfection on skewers.
Ingredients
- β4-6 pieces DeodeokChoose firm, dark green deodeok
- β2 tbsp French thymeFresh or dried, chopped
- β1 tbsp French rosemaryFresh or dried, chopped
- β1 clove GarlicMinced
- β2 tbsp Olive oilFor brushing skewers
- β10-12 SkewersWooden or metal, soaked in water for 30 minutes
- βto taste Salt
- βto taste Pepper

Preheat grill to medium-high heat (375Β°F).

Soak skewers in water for at least 30 minutes.

In a small bowl, mix together French thyme, French rosemary, and garlic.

Thread 1-2 deodeok pieces onto each skewer, leaving a small space between each piece.

Brush the tops of the deodeok with olive oil and sprinkle with the herb mixture.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.
