Japanese-Style Beef Wrap
A fusion of Japanese flavors in a Dutch-Style beef wrap. This recipe combines the sweetness of stroop with the savory taste of beef, all wrapped up in a Turkish-style wrap.
Ingredients
- β250g beef (thinly sliced)
- β2 tbsp stroop
- β1 tbsp soy sauce
- β1 tbsp rice vinegar
- β250g grilled vegetables (e.g. bell peppers, onions, mushrooms)
- β1 Turkish-style wrap
- β1 tbsp Dutch-style mustard

Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, and Dutch-style mustard.

Add the sliced beef to the marinade and let it sit for at least 10 minutes.

Grill the beef for 3-4 minutes per side, or until it reaches a safe internal temperature of 63Β°C (145Β°F).

Meanwhile, grill the vegetables for 3-4 minutes per side, or until they are tender.

In a small saucepan, heat the stroop over low heat until it's warm and runny.

Assemble the wraps by spreading a tablespoon of stroop on each wrap, followed by a few slices of beef, some grilled vegetables, and a sprinkle of soy sauce.
