Pan-Seared Fish in Papillote with Winey Glaze
A flavorful and moist fish dish, Italian-style, cooked in a flavorful papillote with a sweet and sticky winey glaze.
Ingredients
- β4 fish (4 fillets)fresh fish (such as salmon or tilapia)
- β2 tablespoons winey glazehomemade or store-bought
- β1 tablespoon gooeey saucesweet and sticky sauce (such as honey or maple syrup)
- β1 teaspoon brazilian spicespaprika, garlic powder, or other spices of choice
- β1 tablespoon oilolive oil or other neutral-tasting oil
- β4 papillotefour small pieces of parchment paper or aluminum foil
- βto taste salt and pepperseason to taste

Preheat oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).

Season the fish with salt and pepper.

Heat a tablespoon of oil in a hot skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the fish for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until browned.

Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and cook for 8-10 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through.

Meanwhile, mix the winey and gooey ingredients in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring until the glaze is smooth and bubbly.
