Thai-Style Crispy Morbier Spring Rolls
A unique twist on traditional spring rolls, featuring the creamy texture of Morbier cheese and the crunch of crispy vegetables.
Ingredients
- β1 block Morbier cheesecut into small pieces
- β1 cup Crispy vegetablessuch as carrots and beets
- β1 package Winey spring roll wrappersabout 20 wrappers
- β1/4 cup Thai basilchopped
- β2 tbsp Soy saucefor serving
- β1 tbsp Rice vinegarfor serving

1. In a large pan or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of oil over medium-high heat.

2. Add the crispy vegetables and cook until tender, about 3-4 minutes.

3. Add the Morbier cheese and cook until melted and creamy, about 2-3 minutes.

4. In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce and rice vinegar.

5. Lay a spring roll wrapper on a flat surface and place about 1 tablespoon of the vegetable and cheese mixture in the center.

6. Brush the edges of the wrapper with water and fold the bottom half up over the filling.

7. Fold in the sides and roll up the wrapper to form a tight cylinder.
